This vintage lady head vase is marked with a gold “Napco ceramics, Japan” sticker. There are no other marks on the bottom. I’m not sure of her age because I could not find an identical head anywhere. The paint shows antiquing under magnification, but smooth to the touch. Her outside edges of both eyelashes are chipped (can be touched up with black paint with a very steady hand). She is wearing a yellow hat with gold trim, with a purple bow that is just very slightly frayed in one spot. Otherwise, she is intact. She is wearing a yellow ball gown with a gathered front, trimmed with gold. Her hair is trimmed with gold streaking, and her eyebrows are gold painted. She also has painted on gold earrings. She is a beautiful addition to one’s collection. |
